Teenage &
High School Ministries

Every Saturday morning at 9:30am, we meet up to worship, learn and hang out. Our bands lead us in praise and worship, and then we break up into groups and focus in on how Jesus is working in our lives today.

Every second week we start the morning with pancakes at 9am, with our cafe area open with some table tennis, foosball and beanbags where we can catch up with some friends.

We're looking forward to seeing you on Saturday morning!

Once a month our group meets up at people's homes to eat some food together and have a good time. Our House Parties are split in two groups that meet at the same time. One get together for those in school grades 7-9, and another for grades 10-12.

We also catch up with everyone together every now and then, sometimes at the beach, a trampoline or indoor sports park and have a whole heap of fun with the whole group.

Zesty is where our grades 7-10 get to unleash and have a wild night full of crazy games and fun. Every two weeks at the Church we meet up to play handball, have fun and hear a story from one of our leaders about how Jesus is working in their lives. We start at 7pm and go until 8:15pm.

After a busy week of school, study and often work, we wanted to make a space where our seniors could come and relax, hang out and eat some food with each other around some fire. Embers is designed to be easy to come to, we all just turn up. With lights, fires, benches and some snacks at our Church everything is pointing towards the simple community that Jesus so often created. Each time we meet, someone gets up to share, discuss, challenge or tell a story about Jesus and things surrounded by Him.

Embers is on every second Friday night from 7:30pm - 9:00pm, near the carpark of Wallsend Church.

StormCo is an opportunity for young people to head away  and solely focus on helping other people with no sense of a reward. Each year we travel to Dorrigo for one week, where we meet the community, find out where they need help, and then do our best to fulfil that. Often, we run kids clubs, car washes, and go around asking people if they need help around their homes and gardens.

It's an opportunity to focus on others, and reflect on how we can impact the world around us in meaningful ways.

If you're interested in coming on StormCo, watch the highlight videos below to get a taste, and maybe apply for the trip in 2018!

The Pathfinder club provides a church-centred spiritual-recreational program designed for junior and teens aged 10-16 which appeals to this age group because its program features activities that meet their needs and interests. It is filled with action, adventure, challenge and group activities while providing opportunities for the development of new attitudes and skills that produce personal growth, team spirit and a sense of loyalty and respect for God, His creation and His church.

100 in 1

100 in 1 is an opportunity for the young people in our Church to get out into our local community and help people with their yards and gardens. We noticed that a lot of our community need their lawns mown and trimmed, gardens weeded and shrubs pruned. We also provide this kind of help to people who are spending extended periods of time in hosptial, away from their homes and unable to get around to that kind of work. Our goal is to reach 100 homes in the space of 1 year.
